Acupressure Point for Headache

  • April 20, 2015
  • Ashley Villarruel

There are many points in our body that by applying pressure we can get acupuncture like effects. That is why these points are called ACUPRESSURE points.
One of the most useful Acupressure points is found on the webbing of the hand between thumb and the index finger. It is shown that applying pressure on this point can be helpful in management of headaches.
To find this point if we close the web by bringing the thumb to the side of index finger, the muscle in between will bulge. The highest point of this bulge can be marked as the right point for applying this pressure. The pressure can be applied in a circular massaging method or on a direct pressuring manner.

Try it the next time you get a bad headache and see if it works for you.
